Dear Los Niños Elementary Families and Community,
It is an honor to introduce myself as your Principal for the 2026–2027 school year. As a native Northern New Mexican and a University of New Mexico alumna, I am deeply grateful to serve this wonderful community.
Over my 23-year career in education, I have taught and led from Kindergarten through high school. This broad background gives me a clear vision of where our young learners are headed and how to best prepare them. I am inspired to join the experienced, dedicated staff at Los Niños Elementary, and I look forward to working alongside them as a team.
This year, we are transitioning to a four-day school week. Because our instructional time is more focused, consistent attendance is crucial to the learning process. Regular attendance ensures our students stay on track and fully benefit from the deep, meaningful learning experiences we have planned.
I strongly believe in the power of teamwork. I am here to collaborate with you to build a strong partnership between our school and the community. Together, we will uphold the highest academic and ethical standards while fostering a safe, supportive learning environment.
