
New Mexico Youth Fund
Purpose:
This opportunity will provide real-world skills, mentorship, and career pathways that lead to meaningful employment and long-term economic well-being. This is funded by the NM Youth Fund Grant. If you are selected, you will be assigned to the career path you are most interested in, as long as it is available within the community. Program will be running until June 2026.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Check in weekly with Ms. Denette Martinez or Mr. Bhanu Paladi
Report to approved site, internship site at approved hours
Create a Portfolio of daily tasks, technical & soft skills learned, describe the career pathway you must take to be in this field/job one day, day in the life of a given internship, what did you gain from this experience?, present to a panel of community leaders and school officials
Fulfill tasks assigned by supervisor
Performing clerical duties
Job shadowing
Requirement of 140 -144 hours
